Customize employee self-service agent landing page
Admins can now customize the Employee Self-Service agent landing page with accent colors, categorized prompts, and quick links to improve engagement and branding.
Details:
What changed: The standard ESS Agent landing page is replaced by an optional rich landing page that supports organizational branding through accent colors. Admins can organize starter prompts into categories and add quick links to HR and IT resources using CSV templates. If no customization is applied, the default Copilot settings remain. This update maintains compliance with Microsoft 365 security and admin controls.
Why: Providing a customizable landing page helps organizations tailor the ESS Agent experience to their branding and employee needs, increasing adoption and support efficiency.
Try this:
- Publish an ESS Agent in Copilot Studio.
- In the Microsoft 365 admin center, upload CSV templates to configure accent colors, prompt categories, and quick links.
- Save and publish changes to update the ESS Agent landing page.
Why this matters: Customization improves employee engagement and makes it easier to access relevant resources quickly.
Business impact: HR and IT teams can deliver a branded, organized self-service experience that reduces support requests.
Personal impact: Employees find answers faster with a tailored interface, saving time and effort.
